The paleo diet, also known as the caveman diet or paleo diet plan, is one of the newest and most popular healthy living and weight loss diets. It is one of the healthiest ways to eat because paleo diet recipes and the paleo diet food list include fruits and vegetables, lean meats, seafood, nuts and seeds, and healthy fats. They tend to avoid foods such as dairy, grains, processed foods, sugars, legumes, starches, and alcohol.
I have already stated that this is a new diet, but it’s really not. The paleo diet is called the caveman diet because paleo diet recipes were enjoyed every day by our distant ancestors, when items like alcohol and processed foods were not available. In short, our bodies are genetically programmed for this caveman diet, and cooking with paleo diet recipes allows our body to process food the way it was designed to be processed.
